At night, while I'm asleep, everything I hear or feel gets turned into "dream art." A few nights ago, my cat Opus laid her soft, velvety paw on my forehead, and this was the result! Well...something very much like this, anyway.

This fractal was made in Apophysis 7x.15 - and in my dreams.

Oh wow! That's incredible! I wish my dreams were like this! How amazing to translate a cat's touch into a fractal dream! :D

You can see the five fingers of Opus's paw throughout this fractal! :D
The art dreams can really wear me out. They never stop! I'm out of touch with reality even when I'm asleep! Do you ever make fractals right before bed? I think that has something to do with my fractal dreams.
I'm very glad that you like this fractal, Leonie! I wish you wonderful dreams, my friend!

Wow, that's fantastic that you have so many art dreams! Not so fantastic that they wear you out though!

I often think of fractals as I'm trying to fall asleep and I dream about making them often too!

Lately I'm also really trying to evoke lucid dreams but so far no luck! From what I've heard and read, people are making some amazing steps by using lucid dreaming!

Unfortunately a lot of the time my dreams are about various anxieties and the feelings they bring even affect my daily life!

Best wishes with your dreams too! They can be SO incredible - I just wish for more control! :D

You said it very well. My dreams are actually wonderful. I'd just like a little control. (Or a "save" button!)

Are lucid dreams ones in which we determine what happens next? How do they help people? I'm sorry that you're having anxious dreams. They probably aren't very restful and they probably don't help you look forward to the new day. I really hope your dreams will shift direction! Thank you for your nice wishes!

That's great!

I was at my mum's yesterday celebrating our August birthdays and talked to her about her dreams. She flies all the time - she just turned 85!

Then after a week or so of trying, last night I had two dreams (or two parts of a continuing dream) in which I recognised that I was flying and therefore dreaming and pointed it out to my companion in one case. She was flying too - I don't know who she was though. We were in my dream version of Japan.

Later, walking with some friends in the Kyoto subway (in real, I almost never go there but since some of my old friends have apparently moved there, I now go there more often in my dreams), I realised I was dreaming and that if I kinda walk/levitated my feet wouldn't hurt as much! Isn't that amazing?

It's so encouraging, I'm going to make an effort to keep it up. I've heard it's possible to affect daytime feelings and behaviours by using lucid dreaming. The idea is that once you begin to recognise you're dreaming while in the dream, you can start to direct the dreams and do what you want! You can contact people and imagine new ways of living your daytime life!

So looks like your wishes worked! Wow! :D

"Wow" is right! I'm sending you some more good wishes right now! I fly all the time in my dreams. It feels so easy and natural that I always believe I can still do it when I wake up! I'm rather a show-off when it comes to "dream flying". I put on a bit of a demonstration for people! It's funny, since I'm really shy when I'm awake. It's amazing that you were able to levitate to make your feet hurt less! Now we just have to find a way to do this during the day... My dreams are lots of fun! They're better than my waking life, for sure. I'm certain that dreaming is really important to my health. It's such a positive experience.

You're so lucky! I wish I could fly freely and long. Something always seems to come along to distract me - ARG! Last night was full of disturbing dreams of trying to get ready to something and not being able to find what I needed - plus my purses always get stolen in dreams!

I intend to keep practicing. Thanks for the dream wishes! :D

I don't use purses, so they don't get stolen, not even in my dreams. :D Do keep practicing, Leonie. A key to "flying" is confidence. Never doubt that you can do it. Just do it! :)
